Information We Collect
You can use TempMail.ee without registration. We do not ask for your name, phone number, password, or permanent email address to create a temporary inbox.
When you use the service, we process the temporary email address generated for your browser session, messages delivered to that address, message metadata such as sender, recipient, subject, timestamps, and attachments if they are received.
Like most websites, our infrastructure may process technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, request URLs, and security logs to keep the service available, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot errors.
How We Use Information
- Provide temporary email addresses and display incoming messages.
- Maintain uptime, performance, spam protection, and abuse prevention.
- Debug delivery problems, security incidents, and service errors.
- Understand aggregate product usage without building personal email profiles.
Temporary Mailbox Retention
Temporary inboxes are short-lived by design. TempMail.ee mailboxes are valid for 60 minutes; after a mailbox expires or is changed, the address and received messages are automatically cleaned up and cannot be recovered.
Do not use a temporary inbox for important accounts, password recovery, banking, medical records, work communication, or anything you need to keep. Once a mailbox expires or is changed, messages cannot be recovered.
Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
We may use cookies or local browser storage to keep your temporary mailbox session working, remember basic preferences, and protect the service from abuse.
Public pages load Google AdSense for advertising and may connect to Cloudflare or Clicky endpoints for performance and analytics. These providers may process technical identifiers under their own policies. We do not sell temporary mailbox contents.
Our first-party product analytics uses a tm_vid visitor cookie for up to 30 days and retains event records for up to 90 days. Records may include hashed visitor or mailbox identifiers, page context, referrer host, campaign parameters, viewport, browser family, and event outcome; they do not include message bodies. Clearing site cookies resets the browser identifier.
Security and Limitations
We use HTTPS and operational safeguards to protect the service, but temporary email is not a secure archive and should not be treated as a private long-term mailbox.
Anyone who has access to your browser session may be able to view the temporary inbox. Avoid opening suspicious links or attachments in received messages.
Your Choices and Rights
You can stop using the service at any time, change to a new temporary address, clear browser data, or wait for the mailbox to expire automatically.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, deletion, correction, or objection regarding personal data we process. Because TempMail.ee does not require accounts, we may need enough information to verify and locate any relevant records.
Contact
TempMail.ee does not currently publish a dedicated privacy-request channel. Until a verified channel is added here, do not send personal data or mailbox content to anyone claiming to provide support.
